After you have created your group and members have joined, you need to assign apiaries to the group and give users permissions to those apiaries. Both members and Admins can share their own apiaries with a group.
Step 1: Sharing your Apiaries and Pollinator Gardens with a Group
To share your own personal Apiaries/Pollinator Gardens with a group:
- Go to the Groups tab on the left side of the screen
- Click the Share Icon (three-dot triangle) on the group table
- Choose the group that you would like to share your apairies with
- Next you will see a list of all of your apiaries. Check the box next to the apiary that you would like to share with the group, and press "Save Settings" to finish
You have now assigned your own Apiaries to a group on HiveTracks Pro
Assigning Apiaires On Mobile:
If you would like to assign an apiary to a group on your HiveTracks Mobile account
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down to the Group Settings.
- Select the Group, then choose which apiaries you would like to share
Step 2: Assign Members to Apiaries and Pollinator Gardens (Admins Only)
Members of a group will not have access to an Apiary/Pollinator Garden unless the admin assigns them access
- Go to the groups page on the left side of the screen on HiveTracks Pro
- From here, you will see a list of your groups. Select the name of the group you would like to work with.
- You are now on the group's overview page. From here, you can assign apiaries or pollinator gardens through the user permission button. The button is at the top right of your members' table
- From here, you can see a list of all the apiaries and pollinator gardens assigned to the group. Select which apiaries you would like each user to have access to, and click save when you are finished
Now the group members will be able to see the apiaries and pollinator gardens assigned to them.
