Yes! The HiveTracks mobile app is designed to work offline—so you can keep recording your beekeeping activities even when you’re out in the field with no mobile coverage.
How It Works:
You can create records for your apiaries, hives, flowering sites, and more while offline. Once your phone reconnects to the internet (via mobile data or Wi-Fi), your data will automatically sync to the cloud.
Syncing with the Web (HiveTracks Pro):
If you’re also using the Pro app on desktop and notice that your desktop-entered data isn’t appearing on your mobile device, you can manually refresh your data:
- Open the HiveTracks mobile app.
- Tap on the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and select Refresh Data.
This will replace your local mobile data with the most up-to-date cloud data from HiveTracks Pro.
⚠️ Warning: If you’ve entered data on your phone while offline and haven’t yet connected to the internet, using Refresh Data will delete that local data and replace it with cloud data. We recommend waiting to regain internet connection so your local records can sync before using this option.
